The Child
From birth, children begin to develop the skills and to acquire the knowledge characteristic of adulthood. It is their greatest undertaking - developing the adult person they will become.
During a child's early years, when the child is developing his mind, he/she is in constant motion. Movement is the natural steady state for a young child because it is through motion that he learns.
We see children coming to grips with their environment, and we often call it play; but it is indeed work. The touching, the manipulating, the tasting, the smelling are all part of the difficult task of becoming an adult.
The Method
Montessori Method identifies with the child's desire to learn. The drive the child holds within him/her, the innate desire to explore and discover is the foundation on which the Montessori method is built.

Who We are
Lil Sparks Montessori School is not a typical preschool, daycare or childcare center. Lil Sparks Montessori School is an early learning, private school rigorously utilizing the Montessori Materials and Method in its curriculum as directed by trained Montessori staff.
